Not much internet stuff available

This makes the subject more interesting, from the time I started this blog, I was trying to see if I can get information like -
- are there any other people thinking like me
- any ideas for plans of village homes
- usage of village material for being natural and also save costs
- etc

Ashrama Dwelling

Hi,

I have been thinking for a while about what would be a nice way of living...in India.
Here are certain parameters I have -

There has to be lot of trees around, pollution free
On a weekend, if we can just lie under a neem tree, which we used to do during our child hood...nobody needs an AC.
Should have modern amenities like internet, cable etc...but should be a village life
We are all used to information and entertainment, so need to have them...
To commute to a major city, should be within 50-60 kms (30 miles)
In the USA people travel much more than that, but in India near to a decent highway, one should be able to travel this much distance in 1 hr.

Value adds
Based on viability, we can have certain portion of the land allocated to vegetable and Fruit farming as well as have cattle, for milk products.
Should not be expensive like lakhs and crores...
Idea is to live life stress free, so incase we spend so much money, definitely will add to the loan and earning stress.

Basically an ashrama kind of a dwelling, we can keep defining these things...but I hope I have made the basic idea clear

hmm...am I day dreaming about all this...may be or maybe not...if a team of about 10-20 investors who share the above thoughts, come together, avoid all intermediate builders, agents, etc...we can run this as a no loss no profit venture and make this possible...

let me know your thoughts...
